THey carried the line. Together, we’ll take it from here.

Thank you for helping us fulfill our linekid’s wish lists!

Because of you, every child on our Fallen LineMen’s kids list is taken care of for Christmas this year. The Amazon wish lists are now closed, but the need does not stop on December 25.

If you would still like to help, you can give directly using the two donation options below:

A FUTURE LINEMAN GIVING BACK to these fallen families

(3 night stay near Yosemite)

A future LineMan, Matt, who just completed Line School and looking for an apprenticeship owns The Four Daughters Inn outside of Yosemite. He hasn’t even started his career in this trade and has already stepped up for this year’s Fallen Linemen’s Families in a powerful way.

He has donated a free 3-night stay for spouses of Fallen LineMen who are part of this year’s LineKid Christmas program.

This getaway is meant to give a grieving spouse (and her kids if she chooses) a quiet place to breathe, rest, and reset in a beautiful place.

  • 3 nights stay near Yosemite

  • Reserved for spouses of 2025 Fallen LineMen in our program

  • Details and dates are coordinated privately with Matt and each family

linekid’s Wishlists fulfilled!

These LineKids are covered thanks to this incredible community coming together.

Your generosity has already lit up Christmas for these kids. Every wish granted, every smile made possible came from people just like you who stepped up for the children of our Fallen LineMen.

Thank you for showing these kids they’re not forgotten.
Their dads’ brothers and sisters in the trade truly are showing up for them.

Please keep the mission going, there are still more LineKids waiting for their Christmas wish list to be picked.

Scroll up to help them too. We appreciate all you do!

 Why We Light Up Christmas

Every Christmas, our LineCrate community comes together to make sure the children of Fallen LineMen have Christmas.

Widows and guardians create Amazon wish lists for their LineKids, and the LineMan community steps in to make sure those lists don’t sit empty under the tree. One gift, one child, one family at a time…

We help carry what their LineMan can no longer be here to carry.

This mission is our promise: to honor the Fallen, stand beside their families, and remind them that this brotherhood and sisterhood will always have their backs and they are never alone.

P.S. A huge shoutout to Line Brother’s Keeper for co-hosting this mission with us and to the incredible individuals and companies in our LineMan community who’ve stepped up to help. Once you join in to help, we’d love to add you to our list of incredible people we are shouting out at the bottom of this page. Click here to be added.

 How the Christmas Mission Works

1. Families Submit Wish Lists

Widows and guardians fill out a private form and create an Amazon wish list using only their child’s first name.

2. The LineMan Community Shops

You choose a child, open their Amazon wish list, and purchase any gift(s) you feel led to give. Gifts ship directly to the family through Amazon.

3. Christmas Gets a Little Brighter

Packages start arriving, and LineKids know the LineMan community hasn’t forgotten them. We update each child’s status to show when their list is fully fulfilled.

 Frequently Asked Questions

  • All gifts are purchased directly through Amazon using the family’s wish list. The items ship straight from Amazon to the shipping address chosen by the widow/guardian. LineCrate never handles or re-ships these gifts. They go from you to the family.

  • Yes. You’re welcome to purchase multiple items from the same list or choose gifts for more than one child.

  • That’s okay. Each list includes items at a variety of price points so anyone can help. A small, thoughtful gift still means the world to these kids. And sharing this page is just as important.

  • Yes, if the guardian added gift cards to the wish list or allowed additional gifts the child didn’t specify. That lets them fill in any remaining needs for their child.

  • No. This mission is not a sale or promotion. It’s a community effort to support and help the children of Fallen LineMen. LineCrate volunteers our time and resources to help organize this mission to give back and help the fallen’s families during this tragic time.

  • We’re grateful for your help! Please contact us and let us know you’re interested in supporting the Light Up Christmas mission. We can then provide you with the assets you need to share with your audience.

  • Yes. Donations go directly toward gift purchases for remaining children.
